Captain : Vasilis Tsoumas
Captain Vasilis was born in Patras in 1974. He is a graduate of the Maritime Academy of Preveza and he is married with two children. He has extensive knowledge of the Greek islands & Mediterranean waters and he also has strong decision-making ability, especially in challenging situations. Captain Vasilis is ensuring the safety and security of the guests, crew and the yacht while offering to the guests a lifetime experience by discovering hidden gems of the Greek waters. Before joining M/Y EFMARIA, Vasilis served on board various yachts with great feedback from owners and guests for exceptional service and navigation. He values clear communication and collaboration with the entire yacht crew. Vasilis speaks English. At his spare time he loves diving, snorkeling and water sports.

Engineer : Antonis Spyridakis
Antonis was born in Athens and he holds a diploma from Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos. He has 10 years of experience in marine engineering with specialization in luxury yacht systems and propulsion and he has extensive knowledge of the maintenance and repair of marine engines. Antonis is very experienced with regular maintenance of engines and technical equipment and he is familiar with the latest marine technologies and innovations. He is always collaborating with the captain to ensure the yacht is in optimal working condition and he is committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of all engineering systems. Antonis believes in proactive maintenance to prevent issues before they occur. At his free time he enjoys staying updated on the latest advancements in marine technology, travelling and diving. He speaks English.

Chef : Alexandros Kaskoutas
Alexandros was born in 1986 in Poland and he is a graduate of Vergis Culinary School. He has over 10 years of experience as a private chef and he specializes in Mediterranean and international cuisine. He has great experience in catering to various dietary preferences and restrictions. Before joining M/Y EFMARIA, he served on various famous restaurants such as Polly Maggoo Restaurant, Athens and Flowers Restaurant, California. Alexandros has creativity in menu planning and presentation, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards while collaborating with the stewardess for seamless service. He has participated in many cooking contests gaining high distinctions. When Alexandros is not working, he enjoys exploring local markets to source fresh and unique ingredients, always passionate about experimenting with new flavors and culinary techniques and stays updated on food trends and incorporates them into yacht menus. He believes in delivering a memorable dining experience that complements the luxury yachting lifestyle and he values communication with guests to understand their preferences and expectations. Alexandros speaks English.


Stewardess : Kyriaki Gagani
Kyriaki was born in 1980 and she is a Greek national. She holds all her necessary certificates and she has attended many service seminars. She has over 15 years of experience as a yacht stewardess on luxury vessels with an extensive background in hospitality and guest services and she is familiar with high-end service standards in the yachting industry. Welcoming and attending to the needs of guests with a high level of professionalism and ensuring the interior of the yacht is maintained to the highest standards. During her free time, she enjoys travelling and listening to music. She speaks English.


Deckhand : Spyros Karanastasis
Spyros was born in 1996 and he is a Greek national. He started his career on board commercial vessels and then on August 2021 he entered the yachting industry serving on board M/Y IDYLLIC. He is a team player and very pleasant person. He has deep knowledge of safety and emergency protocols and he is responsible for deck maintenance, including cleaning and polishing the yacht. Spyros is proficient in handling small watercraft and tender operations. He speaks English.
