Captain: Akis Galatis

CAPTAIN – Akis Galatis
Akis was born in 1985 in Patra and is a Greek national. He holds a Captain Class B certificate from the Hellenic Marine Academy and all the necessary certificates for his position. He also holds a powerboat license and has attended the seminar “Marine Meteorology for Greeks Seas”. He started his career in 2003 on commercial and passenger ships and after gaining valuable experience he entered the yachting industry in 2011. Before joining M/Y Grace in 2018, he served onboard the charter yachts M/Y Magna Grecia, M/Y My Toy and M/Y Aqua Libra 131. His outgoing and hospitable personality makes him the perfect commander for Grace. He loves exploring new areas, secluded beaches and creates tailor made cruises. Akis speaks fluent English and loves swimming and water sports.
ENGINEER – Panagiotis Michelis
Panagiotis was born in Athens and holds an engineer’s diploma and all necessary certificates and training for his position. He started his career worked on passenger and commercial ships and entered the yachting industry in 2016. Since then he has worked onboard M/Y Jester and M/Y Sapphire and joined M/Y Grace’s crew in 2020. Panagiotis’ primary duty is the safety of all the guests and crew onboard, and his experience in big vessels is a valuable asset for M/Y Grace. He speaks fluent English, and his hobbies are road cycling and football.
CHEF – Christoforos Mentis
Christoforos was born in Athens and holds the certificate of Gastronomy and Cooking from the De L’Art Culinaire School. He is keeping up to date with all the latest gastronomy techniques and trends by attending culinary seminars as Molecular Gastronomy, Food Styling, Pastry and Sommelier courses. He gained valuable experience after working in cruise ships and as a head chef in luxury restaurants. He has been working onboard charter yachts for more than 20 years such as M/Y Rapsody, M/Y O’Pari, M/Y O’Neiro, M/Y O’ Mega, O’ Natalina etc. Christoforos is a phenomenal, a Chef with a great knowledge of Mediterranean and International cuisine. He is very creative and competent and he can satisfy the most demanding guests. He is a member of the Chef Club of Athens and of the Greek Academy of Taste. Christoforos speaks English and he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.

STEWARDESS - Kiriaki -Anna Trekli
Kiriaki - Anna is Greek national and holds a college certificate with specialization in Hotel and Food services. She has worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years at various hotels and restaurants. Kiriaki - Anna is very well organized with excellent communication skills. Before joining Grace she worked onboard M/Y Aquarella and M/Y Summer Fun. She is doing an amazing job keeping the interior of the yacht in top condition and offering high quality services to all guests. With her pleasant personality and her creativity is an asset to the crew. She speaks fluent English and she loves photography and design.

DECKHAND - Konstantinos Lagoudis
Konstantinos was born in Greece, in 1986 and started his career in yachting in 2009. His working experience includes many luxurious yachts like Camellia II, Wave runner, Blue Angel, Toy-A. Reliable, friendly, sporty and a great team player, he is always available to assist with any request or requirement. Konstantinos enjoys playing basketball, football and doing water sports. He speaks English and has a speedboat diploma.
